Managing in-transit tickets efficiently is crucial for organizations handling commodity contracts and logistics. The release of Levridge 2025R2 makes it easier for users to copy, receive, and manage ticket data with greater accuracy and flexibility.

Copying Origin Data to Destination Tickets

One of the standout enhancements is the ability to copy information from an origin certificate directly to a destination ticket. Previously, users had to manually enter weights and grades, increasing the risk of errors and consuming valuable time. With the new “Add” button, users select which data to copy—weights, grades, or both—and instantly create a destination ticket that mirrors the origin.

This feature is especially useful when dealing with purchase contracts. If the origin ticket is already associated with a contract, the system automatically applies the destination ticket, streamlining the workflow. Users also have the flexibility to enter their own certificate number or let the system generate the next available number, ensuring consistency and reducing administrative overhead.

Enhanced Flexibility in Data Entry

If a user chooses to copy only grades, the origin weight remains blank, allowing for manual entry of a different quantity. This flexibility accommodates various business needs, such as partial shipments or adjustments based on actual received quantities.

Receiving In-Transit Tickets Made Simple

Another major improvement is the ability to receive in-transit tickets directly, activated through the commodity accounting parameters under setup and tickets. By enabling the “Allow receive in transit ticket” option, users can process tickets that only have origin weights and grades, even if they lack a destination.

This is particularly beneficial when tickets need to be applied to a contract. Users can select multiple tickets, assign them to a contract, and perform a receive-in-transit operation. The system checks for tickets without a destination, prompts the user with a warning, and upon confirmation, receives those tickets in. They are then marked as received, using the origin certificate, and removed from the in-transit status.

Improved Error Handling and User Guidance

Levridge 2025R2 also introduces better error handling and user prompts. If a ticket is not on a contract, the system leaves it in the in-transit status, ensuring that only eligible tickets are processed. This reduces confusion and helps users maintain accurate records.

Benefit

The enhancements in Levridge 2025R2 represent a significant step forward in in-transit ticket management. Organizations can reduce manual work, minimize errors, and improve overall efficiency.
