If your company wants your billers to be the ones applying agronomy scale tickets to sales orders, Levridge and Levridge scale make that process smooth and efficient. This blog will show the steps of taking an open scale ticket and posting it to a sales order within the agronomy scale ticket application screen.
Here is a picture of the Agronomy Scale Tickets page. This page is filtered to show only the agronomy scale tickets with a status of open. This will allow your billers to quickly run through the list of tickets that need to be applied to their corresponding sales orders. Once your biller finds the ticket they want to apply, they select that ticket and click “Agronomy Outbound” under Apply:
This takes you to the Application window. Then you will click the “Allocate” box, which will show any open sales orders for that customer and product. Your biller can then choose to apply the ticket to the open order or to create a new order directly from that amount of the scale ticket.
Once the ticket has been applied to the existing order or has created a new order, the ticket status will go to “Posted” and will no longer be editable. Here are the ticket details after posting the ticket to an existing sales order of 60,000 lbs.:
Then, if we click on the sales order from the ticket details page, we can see the original sales order line has been decremented 10,000 lbs. and a new line in a delivered status has been created from the scale ticket itself.
All that is left to do for your billers is to apply more tickets to the sales order until the original line quantity has been fulfilled or to cancel the original line quantity if there are no more scale tickets that need to be applied. This will change the status of the sales order from an open order to delivered and it is now ready to be invoiced.
